Steeze AI (we, our, us) provides an AI powered personal styling service that helps users discover fashion inspiration, visualize looks through virtual try on, and shop through verified retail partners.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, store, and protect your information when you use the Steeze AI mobile app and website (the Service). It does not cover third party retailer sites you visit through our links; their own policies apply there.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by Steeze AI PTY LTD, an Australian private company registered in New South Wales, Australia (ACN 698 800 930, ABN 78 698 800 930). Steeze AI PTY LTD is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

2. Information we collect
A. Information you provide
- • Account information: email address, and authentication details via your login method
- • Style and sizing inputs: quiz answers, preferences, sizes, budgets, saved items, favorites
- • Support communications: messages you send to us
B. Photos and try on media
- • Your uploaded full body photo, used for virtual try on. This photo may include your face.
- • Generated try on images, the outputs created by the Service
C. Device and usage data
- • Device type, OS version, language settings
- • App interactions, such as feature usage, taps, and screens viewed
- • Diagnostics such as crash logs and performance metrics
- • Approximate location derived from IP, mainly for security, fraud prevention, and regional analytics
- • Identifiers and events collected by our analytics tools, described in section 7
D. Retail link and outbound tracking
When you click out to a retailer, we may collect:
- • The item or look you clicked
- • Timestamp and referral or source parameters, such as UTM tags
- • General device and app context, not your password
We do not share your full body photo with retailers.
3. How we use your information
- Provide core functionality: account login, style preferences, feed personalization
- Generate virtual try on outputs and show your results in the app
- Improve relevance of recommendations and app performance
- Maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and secure the Service
- Track product engagement and outbound performance

4. Legal bases for processing
Where laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on the following legal bases:
Consent
Processing your uploaded photos to generate try on results, and any optional analytics or marketing you agree to. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your photos or adjusting your settings.
Contract
Providing the Service you signed up for, including your account, preferences, and subscriptions.
Legitimate interests
Keeping the Service secure, preventing fraud and abuse, measuring performance, and improving features, balanced against your rights.
Legal obligation
Where we must retain or disclose information to comply with law.
5. Photos, faces, and biometric data
Because your try on photo can include your face and body, we treat it with extra care:
- • We ask for your permission before your first upload, and we process your photos only to create your try on results and show them to you.
- • Your photos are transmitted securely to our AI service providers to generate the requested outputs. Generation does not happen on your device.
- • We do not create face templates, faceprints, or any biometric identifier that could be used to recognise you, and we do not use facial recognition.
- • We do not sell your photos, and we do not share them with retailers or advertisers.
- • We do not use your photos to train Steeze AI models, and we require our AI service providers to process your photos only to provide the Service, not to train their models. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for your permission first.
- • You can delete your photos at any time in the app, and they are deleted when your account is deleted.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising.
We may share limited information with:
- Service providers that help run the Service, including cloud hosting and storage, AI image processing providers that generate your try on results, analytics, error monitoring, payment and subscription management, and email delivery. These providers process data on our behalf under confidentiality and security obligations and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. A current list of our service providers is available on request.
- Retail partners only in connection with outbound links, for example referral parameters used to attribute a purchase. We do not provide them with your full body photo.
- Legal and safety reasons if required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and Steeze AI.
- A buyer or successor if Steeze AI is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We will notify you before your personal information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
7. Cookies, analytics, and tracking
- • Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies keep the site working. Analytics cookies help us understand usage, and where the law requires it we ask for your consent before setting them.
- • Our app uses analytics tools to understand how features are used and to fix problems. This data is tied to app level identifiers, not to your photos.
- • Outbound retailer links may carry attribution parameters so purchases can be credited. This is purchase attribution, not advertising profiling.
- • You can control cookies in your browser settings, and we honor opt out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control where required by law.
8. Data retention and deletion
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, unless we must keep it longer for legal, security, or fraud prevention reasons.
Photos and try on images
- • Your uploaded photos and generated try on images stay in your account so you can view them again, until you delete them or delete your account.
- • You can delete individual photos and results in the app at any time.
- • If you delete your account or request deletion, we delete stored photos and generated images within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law.
Account and preferences
- • Stored until you delete your account or request deletion. You can delete your account in the app settings, or by contacting support@steezeai.com.
- • Deleted information may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period before being permanently removed.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may:
- → Request access to your personal data and a copy of it in a portable format
- → Request correction of inaccurate data
- → Request deletion of your account and associated personal data
- → Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- → Object to or ask us to restrict certain processing
- → Complain to a data protection regulator, including the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, or your local authority such as the UK ICO or an EU data protection authority
To make a request, contact support@steezeai.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. We respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, and generally within 30 days.
For California residents
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising, so there is no need to opt out. You have the right to know, correct, and delete personal information we hold about you, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
10. International data transfers
Our primary infrastructure is hosted in Australia. Some of our service providers process data in other countries, including the United States. Where we transfer personal data internationally from regions with transfer rules, such as the EU or UK, we use recognised safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or transfer to countries with adequacy decisions.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, encrypted storage where appropriate, and access controls. No system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected users and the relevant regulator as required by applicable law, including the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme in Australia.
12. Children
The Service is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
13. Automated processing and AI
Steeze AI uses automated systems to personalise your feed and generate styling suggestions and try on previews. These systems do not make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects. AI outputs are guidance only, and you stay in control of your choices and purchases.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you in the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the updated Policy.
